I have a 1998 Disco. I have been having issues with it missing, mostly when wet. At first it would start running okay when it dried out. I did notice arcing between wires. Recently it developed a miss that would not go away. I then replaced the Plug Wires and Plugs. The miss did not go away. As I was poking around checking wires and things I noticed that there are few plug wires that are very hot (too hot to hold). I am sure that it has nothing to do with engine heat as they are all spaced about the same distance from the exhaust manifold.
