After 5 years I'm back. I had given my land rover discovery to my wifes mom about 6 years ago and she unfortunately doesn't remember she has it. It sat for the last 4 years ... I was too busy to resurrect it. until now. About 2 months ago I pulled it around to my shop and started the many repairs it needed. First thing I discovered was the engine was stuck.After a couple of weeks of teardone etc. I opted to replace it with a used engine I purchased from Will tillery. This got thing rolling and after several adventures like new master cylinder and change brake fluid, all new hoses under the hood and around the fuel filter, general repairs of Lucas wiring and new tires. it has a license and a safety inspection and i drove it to waffle house for breakfast today. My only problem as of now is somewhat high idle. I'm glad to be back. I've already gotten some good tech help reading the disco tech forum.
