After a few years of being "Roverless" I am back. My history with LR has been 1 Disco I and 2 Disco II's. Loved them all. A few years ago when my daughter started driving I felt that we needed a more reliable car so I sold the D II and bought a Civic. I wasn't in the position to keep it and the Civic. However, I missed it tremendously. Well for the past 3 months I have been searching for a D III (LR3) as they were in the price range that I could afford easily without getting rid of the Civic and still have income for maintenance funds. Looked a a lot of them but never found one that ticked all the boxes (Clean, service records, not tremendously high mileage). Earlier this week I came across a 2006 LR3 SE with 122K miles with every service record from the day she was born. Almost all of it was scheduled and you could tell she was well kept. Owner wanted to step up to a LR4. After a successful PPI and some cash exchanging hands she is in my possession! After owning several of the original 1 and 2 Disco's all I can say is WOW! Very impressed with the way she drives. I am looking forward to being a part of the community again.
