Default Introduction and question

Hi,
Been lurking this forum for a while during my decision to get a Rover or not. Huge wealth of knowledge and support here! I finally have a garage, spare time, and funds to feel comfortable buying a Land Rover. Right now I'm looking at two. A 2004 Discovery II with under 60k miles and the other a 2002 with 120k miles. Both have decent maintenance records and are about the same price. The 04 I'm a little skeptical of as a too good to be true deal, from what I've read here these vehicles don't do well sitting for long periods of time which this one must have done to have so low miles.
Which one is the better buy?
I'm thinking the lower mileage one and do DiscoMike's maintenance plan right off the bat. I don't know anyone who owns one personally so thats why I'm turning to you all.
Vehicle will primarily be used during bad snow storms (other vehicle is an audi wagon for normal storms/everyday driving) and taking it on beach cruises/fishing.
Thanks!

If the condition, history and price are all comparable I would go with the 04 hands down.

Check the frames for rust. But yeah... The 2004.
