Default Jeeps to a HSE7

Well with a growing family off roading in Jeeps are no longer possible. My wife has always wanted a Disco and we finally did it. We got an '03 that is outside of the VIN range of engine problems and for the light off roading that we will be doing not having the diff lock won't be a problem. We are up in Wisconsin and would like to do some events but don't know of any clubs. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Welcome. Download the full set of tech manuals, called the RAVE, in link below. Includes owners, shop, electrical manuals. Look at our tech sticky area for lists of things to do to a new-2-you Disco. One area of interest will be front propshaft rebuild. Stock shaft does not have enough grease fittings, and will split and spear a hole in transmission with little or no warning. $100 fix before if DIY, shaft and tranny replace if you wait. Also consider an Ultra Gauge so you can keep a closer eye on engine temps.

Thanks for the information! The drive shaft looks to be the first project.
