Default Just bought a disco yesterday

Hi. Name's Derrick and just bought a 99 Discovery yesterday. My brother has had a 2001 Discovery for about six years so I'm pretty familiar with them. I am looking forward to putting a mild lift on it, do some exterior mods to make it suitable for some light trail work and camping and getting it off-road where it belongs. I live in DC and hope to get up with some of the Rover lovers in the area sometime in the near future.

Welcome. Please take advantage of the compelte set of free factory shop, electrical, and owner's manuals for your truck, called the RAVE, in the link below.

Should check out our tech section as well. See https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...service-29020/

and if you have a D2, consider rebuild of front prop shaft as well, also in the tech section.

It's a 99 sd, so it's a D1! My lil brother has a D2, so I'll direct him there.
