Default Just discovered the discovery too.

New to the squad but it's been a lot of fun so far. I've always been an off-road fan and had a full-size bronco for a long time. I have 4wd Cherokee at the moment but it's not really built for off-road so I was looking around and stumbled across a 99 Discovery 2 at an impound. It's really high miles but I sort of figured they must have done a lot of work to keep it going this long. Runs really well.

Looks like it's got a 2 inch lift and is running 265/75/r16 tires. ARB front bumper and all the electrical works. No leaks from the sun roofs. Over the weekend I put in new plugs, wires, and coils. I also relocated the coils to the top of the intake manifold. I also put in a 180 deg inline thermostat and that's working great as confirmed from my Ultra-gauge. This forum has been a big help already and I thought I'd join.

I do have the three amigos and based on the amount of brake dust on the front wheels, I have a dirty abs sensor. Gonna do a break job, and change fluids on the diffs and transfer case soon. I also need to check out the drive shafts. Any tips and advice are welcome. Thank you!
