Talking Just purchased our second Land Rover!

Hi All,

So we just purchased a used 2014 LR2 with 20k miles this past weekend after selling our 2004 Full Size Range Rover with 130k miles.

My husband and I looked at so many vehicles before settling on the LR2. In fact, it wasn't even on our radar. The Discovery and Mercedes GLC were still so new that they are selling for more than we wanted to pay (under $30k). We seriously considered the Mercedes GLK and BMW X3. I even test drove the Evoque and really couldn't see well out of it. Being 5'2 and my husband 6'4, it proved difficult to find something we both fit comfortably in.

Then we found the LR2. I feel like someone custom made it for me! It really feels very similar our 2004 RR, but a quick and nimble version. I really couldn't be happier! I'm surprised there aren't more of them on the road where we live (So Cal)...I think she's one of the best kept secrets out there!

The only things I don't like is the mesh lined sunroof, which i'm looking into having tinted this weekend. The model we got also doesn't have heated seats, which i'm a big fan of. Has anyone installed these after market?

Thanks!!!

Congrats, on your purchase...but like they say..."it never happened unless there are pictures"...lol.

Good luck, with your new rig.

Brian.
