Never owned a Land Rover before.

Am painfully close on a 2008 LR2 for $26,500, navigation, certified with 19,000 miles. Warranty to 2012 or 60,000.

I made one mistake thus far and that was driving it. I loved it and nothing I've driven since compares.

I've read all the horror stories about reliability. Now I'm here asking the experts. Do I pull the trigger? What do I need to know? What questions should I ask? When are the scheduled maintenance events and what can I expect them to cost?
