Cool My 1st disco 97 sd

Hi all just wanted To to say thanks up front for all the info I've found so far on here , as this is my only land rover I've ever owned and I gotta say I'm hooked
1997 4.0 auto 245/70/16at .... gathering parts now for it ..here's my list . Sway bay bushings +links , shocks , 15/40 oil + Bosch filter , denso wires + platinum denso plugs , starter , bank 2 number 2 o2 senser , scanner and probably a few more things lol that I don't know about yet . Already fixed exhaust leak and track bar tie rod ends + steering dampener and rubber drive shaft coupler .

Well add a skid plate gas tank strap thingy to the parts ..lol about a 1/4" on one side and 2" on other is holding it up , all the rest is rusted away , plus a ratchet strap now and Fri I'll have a new rovers north skid plate , glade I decided to change diff fluid Sunday or my tank probably would of fell out as I drive Daily to work

Default Hurricane buy ... ;)

Lots of sanding left for new camo job
Yip I'm in trouble ..lol .. I've spent 1100 buying it and about $7-800 in parts and make her daily driver ready so far so good , pile of parts for this weekend sitting here and for some dumb reason I can't wait to wrench on her , she's gotta Lotta life left at 149000 miles , I just knew she'd get me outta Florida if a class 5 hurricane hit , and my jeep tranny went out and since jeeps are for girls , I now own a disco 1 .....I'll post some pics later

Still sanding , sat morning parts start going on , new rovers north gas tank plates here , mayb nxt pd order snorkle and sand more of this black plastic dip off , it stupid some peels rgt off some dont wanna come off .

Well its nice and on now but wasn't as easy as i thought had two trim it down to clear hitch
Peaces cut off so it would clear hitch mount angle bars

The bolts were hardest part , they didn't wanna come loose had to get help from air impact my harbor freight one didn't do it lol
