Hey y'all,

My girlfriend and future wife just bought an '03 Disco. It's got 78,000 miles and, so far, doesn't have any of the warning lights on. Reading on this forum has been quite educational for me and I told her to get it inspected quickly before one of the lights turns on and I have to fix it.

I'm pretty new to Land Rovers, but when I was a kid I worked at an import repair shop in Kansas and we had a few Rovers come through the door. I learned enough to know that they are "special."

I'm a big forum junky, and as the Disco's main mechanic, I will likely be lurking in the shadows quite a bit around here, learning the intricacies of these beasts. Thanks in advance for what I'm sure will be lots of great help.
