Yea assuming you've sorted out your basic maintenance and repairs there are lots of easy ones to try.

If you to the end of Sunset Rd to the west, it will end at the base of some easy trails to fool around on. From there if you head south on Ft Apache there is a very popular tail head leading to some caves and other trails. Your truck should be fine on those.

93 north, left on 375. In a few miles, left on Groom Road (dirt). Drive like you stole it. You'll come to gate....

To the east you can take Lake Mead Blvd all the way east out of town. It will eventually take you to the lake as the name implies. On the way there are scores of trails and random dirt roads. You can head north to the Valley of Fire or south to the lake. Just be careful out there. Lots of small gullies and washes that can swallow up your truck. You wont see them until your almost in them. Slow and steady.

To the North there is the Apex dunes. But you will want some mods first before going in there to far. Fun place to play around. Just steer clear of the air force base..lol they tend to not like when you drive on there land.

You should pick this guide up. Lots of maps and info.

My main concerns with the vehicle right now are that it seems to be dripping transmission fluid, and when stopping, it downshifts a little hard into low gear. If I figure out where the drip is coming from, fix it, and change all the fluids, maybe I'll be ready for some light trails.
