Hi everyone. I'm Aubrey from central Pennyslvania, and I decided to join the forum for support with my 2000 Discovery. It has 167,000 miles on it, and I just replaced the water pump and fan after the the water pumpfailed on me a little while ago.

I love to go 4-wheeling and I haven't been out since I sold my 1994 H1. I am thinking about taking the Disco out, but I want to get another one first so that I have a back-up daily driver! I used to frequent Paragon, but now Rausch Creek is really the only place left.

Anyway, I have a few years 4x4 experience, and I have learned how to work on my own vehicles. The H1 provided a great opportunity for repairs! I am happy to be a trail leader, spotter, etc. and I will lend a hand to anyone that needs help if I've got time to spare.

I just started a new business sellingand installing solar thermal systems (hot water heaters, pool heaters, etc.). Previously I had my own used auto business, but that didn't fare so well given the current state of things.

Welcome to the forum, hope you're enjoying your Disco

Just in case you didn't know, you have to use premium gas, and have your front drive shaft rebuilt with greasable U joints (if the factory ones fail it will take out your tranny) Since you like wheeling you may want to have a CDL shifter installed, if so just post on the Disco forum and someone will go into detail.

I hope you'll find that this forum has more knowledge regarding Disco's than you'll ever need as many of us have

Oh, and I'm from Central Jersey, if you ever wanna wheel the Pine Barrens send me a PM, I'm always ready for a ride, and we can show up my Jeephead buddies

Thanks. I look forward to actually trying out the LRD2 in the wild. I've never taken one off-road, so I'm curious to see what it's like.

It's awesome. I've driven my friends Jeep that's lifted 6" and has 33" tires (I think) and my stock Disco out performed it.
