Hi All, I've been lurking around the forums as a guest for a bit trying to gather information before making the purchase. I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan with the Air Force but I found an '02 Disco on line that looked pretty good. My wife went and drove it last week and she brought it home. So I'm a new owner and even though I haven't touched it yet, I thought I would register and say "Thank you" for the help I have already gotten. The one we got is the SE version with 95,000 miles on it. I will be doing the front drive shaft when I get home as well as the rear latch sticks and the passenger front window doesn't work, but thanks to you guys and your write-up's I'm confident that I'll be able to get her fixed up in short order.
