Hey everyone, I recently got in a car accident, I'm alright, but my previous car wasnt so lucky. Looks like the insurance company will probably be totaling it, which means I get to go shopping and I need something versatile. My wife and I kayak and also drive all over the place. For work, I need something that I can also keep tools in. My criteria is somewhat basic, but I still want something fun. I've always liked the idea of a Land Rover, but there are always the rumors of the high maintenance and upkeep costs. Realistically, I'm looking to spend about $6500 on something so I realize that its going to have high miles. I guess what I'm looking for is some advice on what to look for and what to avoid as well.
