Hi all my name is Christopher Howard (c.howard) I recently acquired an 03 Freelander here in Arizona (Tucson). I have quite a few questions as I am pulling the motor and going through it soon doesnt run so got it for a steal or so I thought lol. Any how This is my first land rover ever and I want to do it right. I am curious as to how a like the rover 2.5 and the kia 2.5(carnival) I know the kia motor was licensed to them does anyone know if the motor was a direct copy? I have tried to contact rpengines in kelso au but no word back and i am in the USA. I am wanting their liners and info on main and rod bearings.
