New guy from Va
As says, new guy from Va.
I'm 40, and have been working on cars, dirt and sportbikes, 4wheelers since 12.
But I've never owned or worked on a Land Rover before.
Been reading here for a while, and joined when I bought an 04 Discovery SE the other day.
Looking forward to learning more about these things.

It has 122,000 miles on it, and is in decent shape.
Runs good, needs a few leaks fixed (valve covers, ps pump). Has new pads, rotors, mc, Has new waterpump, 180 thermostat, doesn't heat...but it ticks!
I'm thinking a lifter based on symtoms, but I'll post my own ticking thread, lol

Nice looking rig you bought there. I'm sure you'll have a good following with that 'ticking' thread lol.. we all have some kind of tick or squeak, creak or groan. Again, welcome - we're a nice group here.
