New to Land Rover Community
Good MorningJust waiting to go and pick up my new LR2 HSE this morning. I live in Scottsdale, AZ and am a semi-retired physician. My 2006 Infiniti M45 would just not cut it to get out in the local desert to pursue my 2 passions-mountain biking and precision long range shooting. I know that issue has now been solved with this purchase. I have enjoyed the shooting Forums and learned a lot.
I hope to learn a lot here about this new Land Rover and be able to contribute to this Forum in the future.
Hope you all have a great, safe day. I know my day will be exciting!!!

Picked up my new 2013 LR2 HSE yesterday. I must admit it exceeded my expectations. The options available for adjustments to security, entertainment and phone systems are amazing. It will take me weeks to fully tweak them! Very intuitive system, once you start using it. The ride quality and excelleration trump other crossovers in this class and it is also the only truly off road choice. Build quality second to none, but not too plush. However, very functional and well thought out. Kudos to the design team. Much prefer the size of the LR2 to the Evoque, but would not have purchased it without the 2013 update with the new engine and entertainment, NAV and phone system. Voice command is second to none. Xenon and LED exterior look sharp. Priced very reasonable. Hopefully all the bugs in the computer system were worked out on the new Evoque.
Time to go out and start training my car! Will be a fun day.
