Default New Lifted LR4!

Just picked up a new-to-me 2010 LR4, and I couldn't be happier. I had the dealership install Johnson Rods, BFG All Terrains, and custom-drilled 20" Fuel Revolver wheels. It looks mean, but still rides great!

Other than the lift/wheels/tires, the only thing I've really done so far is I Plasti-dipped the grille and mirrors (first pic if I have attached them correctly... sorry for the crappy cell phone pic compared to the others with my camera!). I am planning on doing the side air vents as soon as I figure out how to take them off without breaking them!

Looking forward to being a part of the forum.

Did you get an alignment too with the lift and tires?

As far as the side grilles, use a plastic trim remover tool and start prying. I think there are e little clips that hold it on. Very easy. I have had mine on and off several times. Tried glossy black, but didnt like the look with Orkney Gray. Going to have them painted to match the body color.

Default Tire size?

Your LR looks great! What size tire did you install and where did you get the wheels? I have been looking all over for 18 or 19" Fuel wheels for my LR4 and nothing so far has the right bolt pattern or offset. Did you use spacers?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and Im happy to see someone willing to traverse new territory with such a new Rover. Lift kits, bit offroad tires and all that stuff you usually dont see on a Rover until its 10 years old! The market of offroad gear for these new vehicles is not very good yet and still really expensive. I was speaking with RTE Fab the other day and they told me that it cost them around $10,000 to make a heavy duty front bumper for the Discovery 3/LR3! Bare in mind that some of the best HD bumpers for Discovery 2 only cost between $1,200-$2,000! So congrats man. Your Disco 4 looks better already with the lift and tires.
