Thought I'd introduce myself; my name is Paul, and I live in central AZ. I've owned an LR3 for several months, and also have a "59 series II 88.
Recently the LR3 went "up in smoke", but my plans for the series II continue.

Welcome. Link to manuals below, including the oldies. What was the ignition source on the LR3?

Thanks for the welcome.
Not really sure, but pack rats are a problem here. I park the truck indoors, and check everything underhood weekly, so .
Once the fuel ignited, it was pretty much toast...

Aside from a large snake, another item is a pro pest control "rat box". They have a patty of material inside, rodents munch it, it kills their kidneys, and in a day or two they go outside to seek water and die outside the building. You'll see these along the wall of commercial buildings.
