Hey there!

Welcome to the forums, it's good to have you! I think it's awesome that you do your own work. You don't see enough gals doing that. There's a pretty great group on here that's full of information, especially for someone who likes to 'wheel. You've got one of the best rigs around for doing just that, and you'll have tons of fun with it.

Probably not the best of suggestions:
Has anyone heard from Lincoln?

lrChick, the long time used parts people are Will Tillery (mostly on DWeb and D-90 forums), Paul Grant, and the real RoverBones, British Boneyard - Home

I do love that they are easy to work with and fix. My hands are small so even the "difficult" the places its easy to get too. I laugh because new vehicles depend on a computer. So I am a proud owner of a land rover! At my 22 years by the time im 30 I should be an expert! :-D I hope.

I've communicated with the Rover Bones people a bit recently. No issues.

I personally haven't done any deals with him, but this is also because I have a parts rover I use for mine. Thank you for everything. Since I'll be a mechanic tomorrow I'll be putting pictures of my baby for all to see :-)

IMHO posts from a lady's viewpoint would be welcome and might encorage more gals to pick up the wrench.

I am already enjoying reading the posts and seeing how my friends are doing. :-)
I think its just that many females get bored, or if you worry too much about the "getting dirty" part they will always believe it is a horrible thing. But once you do something right at least for me it was "hey I did it, what does this do?" kind of thing.
I love it because I do know I have learned to appreciate my vehicle more because I take care of it and also because it deserves it since it is my transportation.

You might want to let people know your secret. He seems to be very uncommunicative and his websites are suspended.

by the way LRchick, welcome :P

And the females have a advantage, small hands, same number of fingers as most mechanics, the ability to use both halfs of their brain at the same time; and that leads to this Lady Mechanic Initiative

All I did was email him. He got back to me when he could. Usually it took till the end of the day, but he always emailed me back.
