New Member - Life's too Short to Drive a 4Runner
Hey everyone,
I'm excited to finally join the Land Rover community again after being a fan of the brand for years! I’ve just placed an order for a 2025 Defender 110S P300, and if everything goes to plan, it should be arriving in January—fingers crossed!
A couple of years ago I purchased my first Land Rover, a semi-professionally restored and re-built 1997 Discovery 1. Sadly, after about a year of ownership, I ended up selling it, but I absolutely loved it.
I replaced the Disco with a 2019 downpipe/tuned Audi S5, and then 2021 4Runner while I lived in a sketchy part of San Francisco and wanted something inconspicuous to park on the street. While the 4runner has been reliable and fantastic off-road, I spend 90% of my time in the drivers seat on highways and find it to be incredibly boring and uncomfortable. It finally hit me that as a car enthusiast, life is too short to drive a 4runner even if its holding value and can get me on my occasional offroad trips.
Looking forward to connecting with you all and cant wait for my defender to arrive.
Cheers!
