Hello all, Rod here.
Recently purchased my first Land Rover, I have alot to learn.
Hoping to make contact with other owners in the Myrtle Beach SC area.

Welcome. Please look thru our tech section, there are high miles service items to do, rebuild of the front drive shaft before it splits and pokes a big hole in the transmission, and take advantage of the free download of the RAVE, the set of factory tech and owner manuals, at link below.

Don't trust the temp gauge, it is highly optomistic. Check out the Ultra Gauge, which can read codes and reset them, plus display things like digital coolant temp in real time.

Many "new" owners let truck overheat, which is very bad.

When driving on the beach resist the temptation to go "wading" until prepped for it - salt water and wiring not good friends. Of course our British friends will say that the American models are not built for wading, but these seem to have mastered it on "the Grand Strand".
