I've been fond of Land Rovers for several years. Just went to a dealer in AZ to get a new 2011 LR4.
Had a question on 20 inch wheels. I plan some moderate, rarely heavy duty off-raoding. Am I better of with 19 inch wheels? The only LR4 the dealer can get me right now is one with 20 inch wheels.

 

Those big wheels will not be friendly off-road. Ideally you'll want to pick up something around 16" if you're wanting to do any serious off-roading, there's more rubber for obstacles, protection and such. While the LR4's and LR3's seem to be every bit as capable as their forefathers, the big wheels they put on them are meant for better on-road performance and aesthetics because not many folks actually take their new 4x4's off road anymore.

Good luck with your purchase those LR4's are slick and look like they are pretty solid off road even with the dubs I'd love to get my hands on one someday.
