Default New Order

I had a 96 Land Rover Discovery. My wife and anyone who rode on the second or third row seats always complained of a sore butt.
I replaced the car with the Acura MDX. It was a weet ride, and with the Navigation system I never got lost.

It was not a Land Rover! The Disco was like a Swiss Army Knife. We traveled anywhere, and when cars or trucks were not moving in the Virginia mountains we were out there. I even had a set of winter tires for the 4x4.

I am now in a loaner 03 Discovery until my 2006 LR3 HSE is in.

I am interested in comments on two accessories-

Mud Flaps - are they necessary on this vehicle?

Side Step - my wife complains of the height on the Disco. Are they needed on the LR3?

Is the ride much better than the DISCOVERY?

Thanx-

Default RE: New Order

I have seen no need for mudflaps, but I don't know.

I also wouldn't say steps are needed, but I'm six foot three so I don't know.

And I have never ridden in a discovery before unfortunately but I hear that the ride is far superior in the LR3, and I believe it because the LR3 is comparative to my mother's old LX470, minus the numb steering feel.
