New Owner
Just bought a 95 Discovery. White, brown leather, 5spd, 114k, nearly mint condition... The rear cargo cover is no longer with the vehicle nor the front lower bumper section. As I get more familiar with my new pride and joy I will post more and I am sure I will have questions.
Better keep that roof rack locked down, they're popular.
Take advantage of the factory tech manual set, called the RAVE, below, free download.
Also, in our Discovery 1 section you will find a tech area, with things to do for new-2-u Disco's, 60K miles service, and lots of popular fixes written up.
Be sure you are familiar with the temp gauge, it is not linear, and will read normal from 8:00 to 9:00 position. Crawling above that you need to take action to cool off and find out why.
The oil warning light comes on at 7 PSI. so you can drive around at 9 PSI and not know it. Check all fluids every week, without fail. Oil change is suggested every 5000 miles, use a diesel rated oil for extra cleaning.
Some people saw off the lower front of the bumper for added clearance.
You can check with some of the parts dismantlers listed here, these guys have lots of Rovers and sell select quality parts at good prices. They do the volume, and discard the junk parts. Might be a source for your missing items.
These are great vehicles and have a loyal following. DIY they are basic to work on with a little help from forum members.

Thanks for the notes. The rack is pretty cool. The previous owner actually built it based off the popular and pricy racks that are available out there. I suppose I can figure out a special "lock" nut or two to keep it out of prying hands. He also made the front bumper after the originaly started to droop and become as he stated saggy. The truck hasn't seen a day of hard use in it's life. The owner before him (original owner) kept this in their garage and drove it back and forth to work (5 miles) every day. The person I purchased from "racked" up the miles commuting in it and hauling his kids around. I was stoked to find this in a 5 speed and even more excited by the over all condition for the age.
Having a passion for autos I see my fair share of used and abused cars out there. This one was truly in amazing condition and I couldn't pass it up. I will post photo's etc when I'm allowed and when the weather here straightens out. I'm looking forward to owning this for years to come!
