Default New Rover owner from Dallas!

Looked at them for years, finally had a DII fall into my lap last week.

Friends own a plethora of Rovers that has kept me interested and looking. Between three friends I am around a couple of Range Rovers, a HSE Sport, a LR2 and LR3, an Evoque, and a '97 D90.

Plans for the DII is a 3" OME lift and 33" tires. I have been creepin the forum for the past week or so and it has already helped answer some questions!

THANKS!!!

Welcome.

Download the RAVE shop and owner manual, links below.

Look at an Ultra Gauge or scanner to see real coolant temp, oem gauge is at 50% from 130 - 240F so you really don't know what is going on.

Look at the high miles service list and get busy.

Front drive shaft if oem needs to be replaced, sealed joints dry out and the shaft snaps and beats a hole in transmission. Rebuild ahaead of time ($100) or after market shaft.

The world wide standard for despair and repair under the same shade tree.....

If they can be kept rolling by guys with no garage, no PC, no RAVE, a long ways from auto parts stores, no Hawkeye, no scanner, no pro tool sales trucks pulling up, ... certainly we have a running chance.
