New Rover owner in North Florida
Hello all,
I just picked up a new to me 2003 Disco SE7 with about 77K after several months of reading and looking for the right truck.
I am starting on the 60K service this weekend (it already has the updated front prop shaft) and looking forward to learning about my new ride. I don't think I'll have too much trouble working on it, as I used to wrench on a couple of BMW race cars.
Lots of great info here. Thanks for all of that!
Matt

Welcome! Download the RAVE (factory shop and electrical manual set) at links below; and use your scanner to see real coolant temps on the OBDII port. You will note from attached pix that oem gauge points to same spot, even though temp can be all over the place (like 130 - 240). There is a 180F thermostat that is considered a good upgrade. If going that route use Land Rover only, not the MotoRad. Parts sources like Rovers North and others.
As for your prop shaft, grease every oil change.
