New TD5 landrovers in Tanzania
Hi
My boss has purchased some new TD5 landrovers. There going to be used as general work vehicles in Tanzania Africa. Im over in the UK at present, he is in Tanzania. He emailed me with concerns that the new TD5 landroversmayhave a problem with humidity etc as they are a more complicated beast than previous models. Ive not heard of this being a problem. However i welcome any advice, knowledge orexperiences on this model.

Hi Ade,
Tanzania is a beautiful country, I came to Dar Es salam and Tanga to do a military exercise with the Tanzania army on 2002.
For your problem about humidity on the TD5, you must to protect the ECU below the front right seat.
You can use silicon to protect it of the water entrees.
Ingeneralyoumust protectall the components and connectors electronic. Don't forget to protect the accelerator's pedale potentiometer.
Regards.
