Hi everyone I just bought a 1999 discovery from a friend. Had to get rid of my Durango! Problems at every turn with that thing! I love it, runs great, drives wonderfull, already towed a 10x8 trailer with two motorcycles across the country and back with zero issues. But I do have two questions. My AC is leaking on the inside of the cab both sides of the floor comming out at the center/front. I've gathered that this is an easy fix on most cars. Either a clogged tube or a disconected tube or a missdirected tube comming off the AC unit. Has anyone had to have this fix done? What was the cost? I am not a mechanic, have to outsource. My other question is about fuses (I hope). My passenger seat has stopped working. I looked through the manual to find which fuse to pull and replace and couldn't find one that said anything about the electric seats. Are they not ran on fuses? Any ideas how to approach this? One more thing. If anyone is close to the Everett area in WA, do you have a shop you recomend? Thanks.

Welcome.

You will find many tech answers in the Discovery 1 section of the forum, under the tech sticky area, including lists of things to do for new-2-me Rovers, and 60K high miles service.

There is a free download listed below of the RAVE, a complete set of technical manuals, which will have an electrical guide that covers your seat question.

The condensate drains do clog up, they look like a nipple on the underside of the car around the trannsmission hump.

You can post in the regular areas of the forum and receive more prompt responses to questions, and use the SEARCH tool to find the same question already answered (even faster).

Look forward to seeing your posts in the areas of the forum.

Welcome!

Biggs Eastside in Bellevue is a great shop, and so is Lamorna Garage in Ballard. Neither are really close to you, but both will treat you right.
