Hello All

I have just recently got 98 Discovery with 165K. I am in Portland, OR area and have already done quite a bit of work to get my Disco in tip top shape.

I have had the steering gear box replaced and a major tune up. I have replaced the following things a bunch of lights that were burnt out, front passenger door actuator replaced, drag link, front and rear sway bar bushings/ball joints and waiting to do valve covers myself.

I am also waiting on TerraFirma 2" springs/shock set now for the past 4 weeks.

I come from Land Cruiser back ground and rebuilt a 1969 FJ40 from the ground up, but have never worked on Land Rovers. My Cruiser head buddies say I am traitor.

But I am trying to work out a clicking noise from the steering now and have been told it was the tie rod ends, steering gear box and panhard bushings. Well 2 of the 3 have been replaced.

Well that is me and my ride.
