Default Offroading.... for work and play

hi I am Michael Dickerson, but most just refer to me as ODP, I spend most of my days working like everyone one ells, but when it comes to the weekend I am off like a prom dress. playing in the outdoors

I spend all my free time ether at a 4x4 event or hunting or fishing.

I am very active on hunting and fishing forums.

I came here because i am looking at maybe custom building a rover and was looking for ideas and most just see what are some of the issue others have with some of there rovers.

any way hope to find what I am looking for, and as you see my writing ability is poor so I tend not to post a lot more of a reader

Welcome. Factory manual set, called the RAVE, is free download, includes shop, electrical, overhaul, body and chassis layouts, etc. Rovers can be highly modified, can overheat if not careful, cost a lot at the dealer to repair, but are big fun in the outdoors. And you are near large salvage yards, so some parts might be cheap, and you can look at partially torn down ones. Modest skill required for DIY repairs.

Hello, Welcome to the forum!
Don't let the high cost at dealer scare you off! Once you get to know the right people you can get parts fairly cheap.
Go for an older Discovery I that doesn't have the coil packs! OR a Range Rover Classic!
