Default Ready to Rock and Roll

Hey everyone. Newbie in the world of Rovers. I've had her for about 10 months now. A '96 Discovery. Every time I drive it, I love it even more. Form the time I saw it, I knew it was going to be a new passion of mine. It's my hobby, what I love to do. Offroad in the finest4wd vehicle in the world. I've driven jeep's,trucks, other SUV's, four wheeler's, and all kinds ofoff road and other vehicles.Sometimes you can't put a price on design. By design, Rovers in my opinion are completely different than other vehicles by comparison. They are so much more than just a vehicle. With this comes great responsibility I've learned.
Need a little technical assistance with it. Really just a few seemingly simple things. Ihave the RAVE, Land Rover Workshop Manual on CD. I've already done quite a bitusing it. There are noRover dealerships in under 130 miles from here. I'm fairly mechanically inclined, can anyone help me. Here's a pic. Hope to hear from someone that knows their Rovers soon.

Welcome to the forums.

Is that dirt on your Disco?
Ok Ok I know it is,,,,,,, you are one of the few of us that use
our LR's as real 4x4.
If you have the pre advanced evap 96 then I can give you some
pointers, if your not sure what I'm talking about, is your charcoal
canister round?

Not sure if I have a pre advanced evap or if my charcoal canister is round. Are you talking about the cat back or something in the exhaust system? How do I find that out? This is not my regular everyday go to work vehicle, purely off-road and recreation. I'd appreciate the help. One question, my sunroofs, I have to basically almost manually close them, or help them close. I think it's because the screws are loose. I found a star bit to tighten them up, but they just keep turning, they won't bite down and tighten up. I think them being loose causes the sunroof to shift causing it to stop instead of closing. Is there a trick to tightening the screws to the sunroofs? I appreciate the welcome.

You have pre advanced evap.
The charcoal canister is square on the others.
On the sunroof it sounds like you will need a new frame but
I'm not 100% sure, there is a lot of help in the Disco Forum.
