RE: HELP!On vacation and rear windows won't roll up!
the on vacation solution is if you can get the window in the up position and duct tape it in place. If not the old plastic bag trick will get you thru. More than likely the problem is with the regulator. The problem is common. If you are a do it yourself type. the fix is a pain, but not difficult. parts about 100-150buck. 2-3 hours and a cold one. Get your parts from other than the dealer. they will most likely be the most expensive. I have had two go out. I cussed both times. The big deal is keeping the window from being damaged. hope it helps. gotta love a rover. duboff

The other thing that will cause your rear windows to not work is the small ecu that helps operate the windows, it is common to have it fail. I would look at that as your problem since it is not very likely both rear window regulators have failed.
