Default So many regrets on buying my 2022 Land River Defender 110!!

So…I finally decided to jump in and buy a 2022 Defender 110. Finally found THE one I loved in Mission Viejo, CA (I live on the New Mexico/Texas state line). Took over 2 weeks, but finally got it delivered to my front door. I was SO excited, and loved driving it….for 5 days! THEN, sitting in line at a drive-thru and 5 warning lights ⚠️ ⛔️ came on!
I wound up having to have my 5 day old car hauled 250 miles to the nearest dealership, where after having it on their lot for 10 days they finally told me the ECM (Electronic Control Module) had water in it. *The ECM is like the entire brains of the car!!!
At first they said they would have the part overnighted….then they said the part would take 10 days to arrive….then the said the part would be 30 more days before it came in….now they are saying 2 more months before the part will be here.
I am not optimistic about it at this point!!
The dealership has been AWFUL to work with! They have never called to keep me updated, I am always having to call them and the service people always seem to be too busy to come to the phone. Just TERRIBLE service so far from Land Rover!!
And, as far as a replacement vehicle, the dealership says they have no cars available and Land Rover USA will only reimburse me if I have to rent a vehicle over 60 days and then submit a request for my costs….it’s not even guaranteed!

I was told not to do it! (Buy a Land Rover). But I did, and so far it has become one of my biggest regrets in my whole life!

BOO LAND ROVER!

My 2cents - get it fixed and sell it asap - they are in such short supply you can probably get more than you paid for it (especially if you did not max load it)

Jeep wrangler has a diesel engine available now - not the luxury or refinement of a Landy but a way to go
