Hey everyone!! It’s been a childhood dream of mine to one day own Land Rover (as I’m sure all of you have had the same dreams ), and yesterday that dream has come true for me! Happy, excited, and scared sh*tless to announce that I’ve pulled the trigger on an ‘03 Disco II...has about 240k on the dash, owner replaced a number of items (spark plugs & wires, tires, o2 sensors, transmission, power steering pump, water pump, fuel injectors, battery, alternator....kinda a long list &#128553. Thing that bothers me is that it still has a misfire and owner said he just doesn’t want to put anymore money and time into it. Haven’t gotten a chance to pull the codes yet, but REALLY hoping I made the right move. She still needs a good washing/thorough clean but here she is..

 

Nice find. I think you’ll be happy you bought it. As you said, we all love our LR’s. For help with your technical questions (like the misfire), post your issue in the Disco2 section of this forum. There is a lot of D2 experience there, and lots of people willing to offer their knowledge.

I've been a lurker for a little bit prior to getting my new baby, so I'm definitely sure this forum is full of valuable knowledge...cant wait to research and start dialing it in! I haven't even named her yet and its' been 4 days, I'm slacking!
