Default vibration

slight Hi frequency vibration between 30 and 50 mph. Mostly feel it in the seat but some feedback in the steering wheel. New tires just balanced. Alignment checks good. Drive line? This is my first Disco so don't know what's normal and what's not. Vehicle has 58,000 miles on it.

Default RE: vibration

I just got a RR Classic and it had a vibe and slight noise from the drivetrain. I looked underneath at the u-joints and driveshafts. All of the u-joints were bone dry as well as the front slip yoke. I would check these as pumping them up with grease has eleminated all vibe and noise coming from my drivetrain. Many quick lube places see the sealed tie-rod ends and just skip the lube job all together, but there are at least 3 maybe 4 grease zirks on your drive shafts. My front slip yoke took 10 plus pumps to fill it back up and each u-joint took 2.5 pumps and did not pop. Hope this helps. Let me know.

I would go back and have the tire balance rechecked.
I had 3000 miles on the balanced tires and took it back to
find out that the tires where out one to two ounces each.
I have had out of round tires also.
Good Luck
Mike

Thanks for the tip on the grease for the drivetrain. My mechanic has discovered that the front drive shaft assembly is Kaput, but I'm also making sure they lube anything they can find per your advice. I'll let you know how it turns out. If that's not it, I'll have to go back and look at the balance again. In anycase, the front assembly was shot.
