Hello all. So a little about myself, Just turned 40 years old been working for the railroad for going on 12 years now. Before that I joined the U.S. Army in 1997 as a forward observer. In my spare time I do spend quite a bit of time at the VA. When I'm not at the VA the family and I love to travel back to San Antonio and Killeen, Tx to visit family, fish shoot, & offroad.. I currently live in El Paso for a little while more before I move back to Texas. Lol. Anyways so the reason I registered on land Rover forum is because I'm looking to buy a used land Rover. The wife and I have always loved the look and style of the rovers just never thought about buying used. I was always told to stay away because they have to many problems. I currently own a 2016 challenger Scat Pack and a 2016 Jeep Wrangler 75th anniversary which belongs to my wife. I used to own a 2001 Jeep Rubicon unlimited that was pretty decked out. 3.5 in lift, Snorkel, winch, front and rear custom bumpers, custom safari rack, 33'' Mickey Thompson Baja claws and hella lights with hi lift jack, & 2 Gerry cans. So I found a 2004 land Rover with 134000 miles. I need some info thoughts. I read on this forum to stay away from 2003 and the 2000 2001 were the best ones to buy.
