Title speaks for itself. According to Wikipedia Motortrend and various other websites the Series II Discovery underwent 720 alterations... Anyone have a comprehensive accurate list of these changes? Haven't had much luck in my research online. I've somewhat familer with the Discovery Series I & Series II models but I want to really indulge into the history specs and differences of the two models purely for "enthusiast educational" pourposes. Spike your knowledge and resources on the subject would be great appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Well, the water pumps swap. The short block maybe. But so many other things are "new and improved" . You always have to be careful in the 1999 year, that is when the D1 died off and the D2 was released.
