September 2015 Seattle Washington: Just completed a fishing contract at the Seward Fisheries in Alaska and immediately took on a new contract with American Seafoods Company. Had to take a plane down to Seattle where I met my new employer, undergo a background check, physical and interview per-boarding the vessel. In the background you can see the Seattle Space Needle.
SeaTac: The most expensive taxi fair I ever paid!

Early November 2015: Winter and final offload of the season. Big storm just passed and the harbor was full of other vessels so we had to anchor in a nearby lonely bay for the night.

I lived in Juneau for 3 years and got to travel around AK a bit. Best place I've ever lived actually. Travelled 28+ countries. Alaska always felt most like home to me. But alas, I made the poor decision to move to Virginia in 2012. It's just not the same down here. Too many people, traffic, pollution. Ugh.
Some day, I might go back. Jobs are harder to come by up there.
