Thanks! She really shows absolutely zero symptoms today. She only had two symptoms which went along with that special time of the month (body aches, and a small fever). Both of those went away within 1 day. The kids show zero signs either which is great. 14 days from now we'll see how it turns out.

How are you guys doing this week? Hopefully no more symptoms Best4x4.

I'm curious how people are handling it all. Are any of you still working somewhere outside of your home? Do you go to the grocery stores for supplies? What are your thoughts? Aside from running a quick errand a couple of weeks ago, I haven't been anywhere since March 15th. We're eating down the freezer, getting creative with what we have and trying to stay sane working on projects around the house, along with doing puzzles, listening to music and trying to stick to a routine. I dug out some old seeds to start indoors and have created a little window garden with kitchen scraps (green onions grow like crazy!). I also picked some forsythia stems to 'force' which are just starting to open in the center of the table. Like everyone else, I'm wondering when we'll be able to freely go about our lives. I worry about our small shop too and if we'll be able to open again and how will we do it? It's only 500 square feet. Hard to keep everyone safe in tight quarters.

Both of us are out of work right now so we're also entertaining ourselves by trying to log in to the unemployment website (to enroll) which keeps crashing. No complaints though... just an observation. We're fortunate to be able to be home right now.

How are things going in your neck of the woods?

Was just enjoying a cigar and petting the two setters on the side porch, while thoughts of the future presisted. Difficult times, for sure. My heart surely goes out to those in grave situations, where they are self employed or small business owners and are really feeling the brunt. My sister has been trying to get through on the unemployment website for two weeks...with absolutely no success. Our state (MI) has been horrible in its response to this issue, and others.

Personally, l've ran out of things to do (besides working on rovers). I'm becoming bored to death and even miss work, believe that. Fortunately, we've had a few nice days, temp wise, and could get outdoors. This week coming up will be cooler than normal, so garage work will be minimal and lounging around in the yard will have be done with the protective wear of a coat. I'm so, so, so freak'n tired of wearing a coat l can't stand it. I've learned one thing during this whole mess...retirement will be very, very difficult for me during the winter. My issues are miniscule, in the grand scheme of things...and hate to even make notice (but, you asked).

Anyhow...

l hope thoses that are dealing with this virus on a more personal level come through it successfully. And we, as a nation, can soon get back to normal (whatever that will be?) and gain confidence in our life style. I'm sure, we will prevail and slowly get back on track.

Brian.

Just went over to facebook and some folks are seeing success logging in at the unemployment site. Good luck!

All good here so far, I went in today and got tested so my new job can have an answer of - or +. Of coarse watching how they did the test, and how many coughs I heard while waiting in line made me feel like if I didn't have I certainly will now. The nurses were in full body/splash shields, but they never changed their gloves out and they went from one car to the next and handed out info on covid19 with the same gloves on........ The probe up the nose was just lovely lol

Neither my wife and I are working right now. Her hospital has put her on leave without a return date. My new job is dying to know if I'm positive or not and I'm not sure if that's good or bad to be honest. Nothing I can do about it so trying not to think about it. Money is getting tight, but we're getting by. The job I left totally took me for a ride on my vacation pay so that wasn't cool. I have tried to do online classes but with the kiddo's running around 24/7 that is next to impossible. I've piddled with a few tiny LR projects, but nothing serious. I too am honestly missing work and the normal day to day life. The weather is lovely here and I'd so wanna go to the lake!!!

Yeah, when reading junk mail becomes the highlight of your day...work doesn't seem all that bad.

Hope your results come back negative Best...and your wife is 100% soon.

Thanks Brian, and my wife is 100% now and feeling fine, but since she tested positive NO ONE wants her to return to work anytime soon. Her co-worker that tested positive back at the beginning of March just returned to work, so I'm guessing my wife "might" get to return to work by the end of April, but they keep changing stuff as this Covid19 stuff continues. I truly do fear if my results come back positive even though I haven't had a single symptom for nearly 20 days my new company will probably tell me to stay at home for another 14 days which will of coarse be without pay which is fine, but after that I hope to return to work ASAP.

Best4x4, you can always supplement income with unemployment. Its been said that even if you were to start a new job and it was delayed you can apply.

Hope for the best Best for you and the Misses, sure is different times. We’re still running wide open at work and thankfully nobody has tested positive.... yet. The future for all of us seems pretty uncertain until a vaccine is developed. I’m amazed at how quiet it’s become, no jets overhead, very little traffic, because of the weather no one outside except me. I feel guilty firing up the air compressor and running an impact at the homestead. I heard yesterday that if laid off for Covid-19 I wouldn’t be eligible for the $600 Federal, we’re an AG food producer. Either way I’ve never wanted time off more than now and no luck..... I finally installed a pile of accumulated new parts on the Heep and cleaned up the entire yard in two weekends of sunup to sundown work. Now I can’t sleep.... today a friend gave me first dibs on his Vette, wants to sell to put a down payment on a hunting cottage. LT1, triple black, no issues or wrenching needed with just a tick over 60k. Can’t stop thinking about it, have the cash. Why not? Corona this!
