Quotes via Alibaba are around $700. Sea shipping is $250. Some of the ones I see in the US for sale are just rebranded versions. They seem to list at $2500-$4000.

So, I thought I’d get a sense of the customs situation. Broker quoted me $375 for just paperwork and bond. She mentioned private individuals won’t need a bond. I live in Los Angeles.

Import is likely around 2.5% and if it gets inspected, it could be $80-$200 in customs charges, though that seems unlikely.

Anyone with experience in this type of transaction?
