It has been 6 years since we've owned a '96 D1 SE7. We sold or original "rig" due to the gas prices back in 2006. I substituted my wife's ride with a cool looking PT Cruiser (no ranting please), modified with the "euro" touch. Since then we continually talk about the old Disco, saying we will have another one, "one of these days". We really missed it and all the modification we did to it. Well, time has come, we just bought a '96 SE7, almost exact duplicate EXCEPT this one is a 5-speed. We got for cheap, knowing that this will be a "project". Boy, this thing has a ton of issues, which are mostly cosmetic and eletrical. The drive train only has 117k miles on it. And from my inital inpection, the head were redone and engine runs flawless. It passed smog and the readings were like a new vehicle.

I never got involved with any LR forums, but now I have the need for help. I will be posting continually to get this thing road worthy.

So...here I go.....
