Default Complete steering losss

On my way into work this morning ,I heard what sounded like a binding noise. Then I lost all capability to steer my car..

Hi, welcome. May I make a suggestion. Put this under the correct category, i.e. Discovery 2, if it's a D2 or whatever category it fits into. Then specify under your profile whereabouts you are located. Finally, many people like me don't have 'crystal ***** to gaze into' so you'll need to describe in far more detail your steering problem otherwise it's merely 'guessing'.
