Yep, been working on both of my rides here and there. Plus extra yard work every day. Honestly... I don't think I can go back to "work from the office 5 days a week."

Only groceries stores are allowed to be opened.
Most of the work places are closed (personally, I'm at home for the next 2 months, everything canceled)

Hey Dude,

Where are you in IL? I come to Tel Aviv often, was almost a second home a year ago. Would love to go off-roading in Negev at some point ;-)

Stay strong. If there is any country that can survive this ordeal, it will be IL.

Hi Christina

You and your family stay safe eh, it's getting worse generally. Keep smiling and stay safe, life is too short.

South Korea has another secondary outbreak.

Best

Hey, good to hear from you CJ! I was thinking about you the other day. Heard that France is on lockdown until May 11th now. How are you guys holding up? Hoping you are doing well and that you're done with your treatments

I've been baking 2 loaves of that bread (recipe in the thread) every week. One for my sister and one for us. Can't believe it's so easy to make. 4 ingredients - throw it in a bowl - leave it overnight and then shape it and bake it the next day. I've thought about my grandparents a lot during the past few weeks - how my grandma would save everything and use everything over and over. Empty panko bags are turned into freezer bags for overripe bananas in our house now... chicken bones are boiled with onion and celery to make stock for the next days soup and thoroughly washed vegetable scraps are either used in a window garden or frozen for future vegetable stock.

I haven't worked on my Rover much (ok, not at all...) - want to get out next week and at least put air in the tires (gotta start somewhere). The plan is to get it into the garage this spring and work on it throughout the summer... I sound like a broken record, I know.... We haven't seen anyone we know (aside from my sister who lives down the road and runs over to pick up grub) since Mid-March. My parents got back from their world cruise the first week in March and, aside from blowing my mom a kiss and giving her an air hug, haven't seen them since January 8th. Don't think I'll be able to see them for Mother's Day, or her birthday, which is right around the corner. We all joke that maybe we'll get to be together on Independence Day haha. One can hope!

Hope you and yours are doing well and making the best of your time together. How are the home projects coming along?

All the best

Christina

....so much for 'extending an olive branch' during difficult times....

I wonder how many people will get divorced after this? My husband said 'what are you? mental?' when I sprayed his shoes down with Lysol yesterday. He was wearing them at the time Thank goodness he puts up with me.

Hi Christina

Life is a bitch at present but you tend to get used to it. We had a domestic oil delivery this morning, what a performance! I live out in the 'sticks' with only one or two neighbors so no probs there. We tend to go shopping for food only once every two weeks, my wife is also very careful, even neurotic, about the darned Covid 19, she tends to go into Super U whilst I stay in the D2, damned cancer problem, hey ho eh, one day it'll be normal again.
