Not trucks, fellas. SUVs. Trucks have an open bed in the back. It's a travesty to call a Landy a truck. A F150 or a Toyota Tacoma is a truck. Just saying. But yeah, I hope they do increase in value eventually. Will they? I dunno. We see a lot of them come in and out of dealerships. There are still a lot out there. Scarcity creates higher valuations. Maybe as more crash or rust away, the survivors might be worth something. At this point, most D2s are worth much, much less than they were ever purchased for. Sad to say, as I own a nice blue one.

If you want a car with appreciating value then it's hard to beat the Mercedes SL of 70's, 80's or even early 90's vintage. £5K buys a good example. These cars are bomb proof.

Apart from Series and Defender LR's and early Merc trucks there are no appreciating 4x4's around. The D2 as a classic in europe is a bummer, far too many around and just another rust bucket for many.
