Sadly, once again we, the Allies, will be sticking our noses into where they are not wanted, to wit in Syria. Many troops of all the nations involved will once again die in the ensuing conflicts. In most cases it will be to enhance the political status of the governments involved and divert attention from the failing domestic issues, and, if they come out on top, rewrite history saying how great the politicians were or not. Sadly, many will die from both sides and the only losers will be the troops on the ground. Won't they ever learn from history.
