Default How do you Cook your Turkey

We all have our own method to the madness for a perfect bird for Thanksgiving so post it up.

I do a Maple Brine. Farm fresh turkey (never frozen) sits in it for 24-36 hours. Stuffed with rough cut onions, celery, carrots and bacon. Pat dried and coated in a stick or 3 of melted butter. Than slow cooked in the grill, with charcoal, hickory, and apple wood chips.

Tastes great and even better after it is allowed to sit after cooking.

She takes care of all the rest of the dinner. The bird is my only responsibility. Otherwise dessert would be hostess cupcakes.
