Default Land Rover Worst Vehicle Rating

see the JD Power survey 2013 Vehicle Dependability Study | J.D. Power which puts Rovers on the bottom of the pile, and that is for the latest models.

Now there is a silver lining inside many clouds, and this being in the news might just let guys buying a Rover negotiate a better deal....

If it drives the prices of used Rovers down, I'm all for it.

Thats a double edged sword. As awesome as it would be to see prices drop, I dont know if I am to fond of the idea of the value of "my" rover dropping as well.

Well lets be honest they deserve a terrible rating because for the most part LR does suck. The Discoveries are great vehicles because they have great owners, not because LR ingenuity.

Drive it till the wheels fall off and it won't matter.

funny,.. because the new range rover won SUV of the year already for a few things and the Evoque won a bunch last year for SUV of the year.

well, this would be for 2010 model vehicles it says in the study. And it shows that for every 100 Rovers sold they had 220 reported problems in the survey. Over three years of ownership. So 2.2 problems in 3 years. The industry average is 1.26 problems over three years. One extra problem. Three years of more fun and off road ride'em cowboy! While Joe Milktoast stays home to detail his Taurus.

The lucky skunks! Many of us have had a lot more than 2.2 problems in the last three years!

Winning SUV of the year isn't anything new for Land Rover.

I am not so worried about reselling it as I am in getting hit by some idiot and having my truck totaled out at 700 dollars worth of damage.
