Just got a 03 sportster 1200 stupid cheap looking for a good info forum

 

So now that you got your wife a bike what are you getting for yourself?

 

Have a fxwg, I like the 1200 sportster better, just needs a fatter front tire

 

LOL, I started with a 1200 Sportster (883 means turning in man-card), but traded that in for a lowered bastard Fatboy. I do miss the Sportie sometimes, but it used to cook my right leg when stopped in traffic. I don't miss that.

A pal bought himself a Harley a few years back (he always fancied one ......................... god knows why) and when he found it didn't go around corners or fast bends too well he sold it and bought another bloody Triumph ................ 'frying pans into the fire comes to mind'. Jap crap is king OK

 

Yeah not into crotch rockets, this guys girl friend made him sell it so he dumped it cheap (like under 2k cheap) to sell fast, everything works fine and came with an extra set of tins, I will check the above forum, just looking for some good general info while I wait for a manual to arrive

I'll have to get a pic to post I guess, want to bob the rear fender and do a black chrome kit, I'm not huge on all the chrome, and maybe a fat front tire

Bike already has a Carb upgrade, drag pipes and other little odds
